When I was young, my dad and I would spend a lot of time together in the kitchen trying out new recipes. This had a big influence on my creativity and taught me that there are no limits when it comes to cooking. I started Spicy Mama’s Kitchen to share my fun, simple recipes and hopefully inspire you to be creative with your food.

Swati Thakkar was born and raised in New Jersey and has since moved to Texas. She raised two daughters who are now college-aged. Now that she has time, Swati has combined her passions for cooking and creativity. Through TikTok, she has built a community of creative foodies around the world.
