Chili Paneer
Chili paneer is one of my all time favorite dishes! It’s a great starter for anyone looking to learn more about Indo-Chinese cuisine. It’s simple to prepare and is bursting with flavor.

Ingredients
For the marinade:
3 tablespoons corn starch
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon
2 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/3 cup of water
Salt to taste
For the dish:
2 tablespoons oil
4-5 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 green chili (sliced )
2 green onion stalks (chopped)
1 white onion (cubed)
1/2 red bell pepper (cubed)
2 tablespoons Swad Chili Garlic sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoons dark soy sauce
1/2 block paneer (cubed)
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Salt to taste
Preparation
Mix all of the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl
Add cubed paneer to your marinade, mix well until coated and let it sit for 10 minutes
Add 3 tablespoons of oil to a pan and sauté your marinated paneer
Once golden brown, remove onto a paper towel
In the same pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil on a medium flame
Add garlic, green chili, green onions, white onion, and red bell pepper
Sauté for 2 minutes
Add chili garlic sauce, ketchup, rice vinegar, and dark soy sauce
Sauté for another 2 minutes
Mix in your sautéed paneer
Add salt and sugar
Mix well and serve on a bed of rice
And your chili paneer is ready to eat!
