Paneer Fried Rice

An easy stir fried rice recipe with a touch of paneer!

Ingredients

For the marinade:

  • Paneer chopped into small cubes

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon Ching’s Schezwan Fried Rice Masala (you can substitute it with red chili powder)

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic

  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger paste

For the dish:

  • 6 tablespoons oil

  • 6 garlic cloves

  • 1 green onion stalk

  • 1/2 white onion (sliced)

  • 1/4 red bell pepper (sliced)

  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage

  • 1 tablespoon Swad Chili Garlic sauce

  • 1 tablespoon schezwan sauce/chutney

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons dark soy sauce

  • 4 cups cooked rice

  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  • Mix all of the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl

  • Add cubed paneer to your marinade, mix well until coated and let it sit for 10 minutes

  • Add 3 tablespoons of oil to a pan and sauté your marinated paneer

  • Once golden brown, remove onto a paper towel

  • In the same pan, heat 6 tablespoons of oil on a medium flame

  • Add garlic, green onions, white onions, red bell pepper, and cabbage

  • Sauté for 2 minutes on a high flame

  • Add chili garlic sauce, schezwan sauce, rice vinegar, and dark soy sauce

  • Add your cooked rice

  • Mix in your sautéed paneer

  • Add salt

  • Mix well and serve

And your paneer fried rice is ready to eat!
